Now i noticed someone else on this forum quite frequently mention that he can actually find peoples ip address and the general location of where they live whether that be a town or city so iwas how can it be done? I know how to track an ip address to a location but how do find the ip address of the forum poster initially in other word’s what URL details do you need etc etc?

Note I’m not doing this for malicious or illegal reasons I’m just curious about it that’s all.

I beleive there are ways to do this for both Google & Yahoo.

If police are serving a search warrant, but it had the wrong address on it, is it still permissible ?
